Music PR Research Assignment

In my PRL 206 class, I was assigned one of PRs many specializations, music public relations. I researched the history, advantages and disadvantages, communication activities, skills needed and prospects for the specialization

Video
Journalism Interview​
​

In my COM 117 class, I was able to learn about video production and video editing. I now am able to use Adobe Premiere to create content in video format. For this assignment, I learned how to conduct a journalistic interview where I produced and edited this video.

Client Report​
​

In the class PRL 315: Public Relations Research, we worked with the client Investigative Post on how to improve their public relations throughout the semester. We learned about research methodology, analytics and survey construction. Here is our client report for the client with the results of our research. 

Client Planbook
​

As part of our semester long classwork in the class PRL 376: Content Op for PR Writing, my group complied all of our assignments for our client, The Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company. We presented this planbook to them as part of a comprehensive plan to engage their established audience. 

Magazine Project​

 

In my graphic design class, we learned how to use adobe cloud. For this project, we learned how to design a magazine including the cover page, jump page, opening spread and advertisement.

As a senior student at Syracuse University, I took the class writing for PR cases and campaigns  (PRL 425). Here is a client planbook me and my group created for the Oneida Police Department as part of our capstone project.
